Omas has developed a vertical diet-feeders range with one or more augers that can break quickly hay bales of any shape, weight and size and cut perfectly the long fibre products. The shape of the mixing tank, which is extremely strong, conditions the flow of materials in order to quickly obtain the best mix, by also preserving the structure of the loaded ingredients. Structural simplicity, compact sizes, high thickness floor and walls are features common to the whole range. OUR HISTORY
1963
Established in 1963, Omas International grew by creating advanced solutions in agricultural mechanisation field. Over the years the Company is present in the entire Italian territory. Based in Pontevico, Val Padana witch is one of important dairy production area in Italy.
1988
The original design of the tank and auger is the essence of the Company’s leadership in the vertical mixing technology filed. Therefore, Omas International decides to specialize itself into the mixer feeding production.
1990
The particular mixing Technology allows the company to step, as the first mixer feeding manufacturer, in the Parmigiano Reggiano region. The high level quality and production discipline requirements are fully satisfied by the Omas vertical technology.The perfect clear-cut makes the mixing particularly desirable and digestible, ideal for a high quality milk production as the Parmigiano Reggiano standards require.
2004
Looking forward to the future, Omas enlarges the manufacturing facility with the mixing tanks internal production for a perfect conformity with the original design. The site is now based in Cicognolo.
2011
Omas settles down in Codogno, maintaing its influence in Val Padana, with a renewed staff and an international business aim.
2017
